This is one seriously well-stacked recording interface. Let's look at the back first: 8 x XLR mic preamps (ch 1-8 with gain control on front panel), 6 x line inputs (ch 9-14) and spin around to the front for 2 x Super Channels (ch 15-16), for Mic or Instrument input, featuring tube preamp stage and analog limiting before it hits the converters. A pair of firewire ports to connect all 16 inputs to your computer, plus there's a headphone socket on the front and 2 main outs on the rear, next to the 4 line outputs.
