It's an Australian classic that's become famous around the world. No, we're not talking about 'Back in Black' it's Rode's Classic II valve condenser. If you read Rode specs they'll say "featuring a custom spec 1" dual diaphragm capsule feeding a vintage twin triode (New old stock) GE JAN-6072 valve and custom Jensen output transformer" But what they're really trying to say is that this multi-pattern studio beast is great on vocals, and also on a bunch of other instruments. We've used it with great success on guitars and saxophones, and it rocks as a single drum overhead. Definitely a mic worth your attention. Comes with case, shockmount and external power supply (complete with polar pattern selector).
