The gooseneck is 140mm length, and the holder will suit just about any variety of brass instrument, especially trumpet, flugelhorn and trombone. Adjust the exact position of the microphone to achieve various tonal qualities, and use just one hand to easily swap the microphone between intruments.

But this is just the icing, the sweetest part of this cake is the actual microphone itself. DPA has built a ripper little supercardioid condenser microphone. Like all DPA mics, the 4099Trumpet reproduces your sound naturally and accurately. Comes with XLR connection, but easily converted to suit any of the serious wireless systems including Shure and Sennheiser.
