Super-easy way to project an excellent saxophone sound for live performance. If we talk about the mount first: it's easy to mount with one hand, and is non-marring for your instrument. The gooseneck is 140mm length, and the holder will suit just about any variety of saxophone: soprano, alto, tenor, baritone or even bass clarinet. Adjust the exact position of the microphone to achieve various tonal qualities.

But this is just the icing, the sweetest part of this cake is the actual microphone itself. DPA has built a ripper little supercardioid condenser microphone. Like all DPA mics, the 4099Sax reproduces your sound naturally and accurately. Comes with XLR connection, but easily converted to suit any of the serious wireless systems including Shure and Sennheiser.
