Here's a ripper PA bundled deal - EV, Soundcraft and AudioTechnica
We love deals, as you've probably worked out by now. Sometimes we get some tasty ones put together by our suppliers - the importers of all this fine gear, and sometimes the deals are dreamt up by the manufacturers themselves. Usually though, this means that console is exactly what you want, but the speakers aren't quite what you're looking for - or vice versa.
BUT this time we've put the deal together, which means it's absolutely the best best gear we can squeeze into a price, no matter what the brand. We think this one is going to be very popular with bands, and some venues/entities that typically showcase bands, whether it be a school, PA rental company, beer garden, you get the picture.
Here's the deal: $7,854.00 worth of PA system (at RRP), for just $4920
Healthy discount you say? Yes - there's no use beating around the bush here. We've already done the hard work. You get 2 x EV powered subwoofers, 2 x EV powered top boxes, a Soundcraft 20ch mixer with effects, a couple of height adjustable distance poles to go between the subs and the mid-high boxes, PLUS we've thrown in a 4pc drum mic kit to really get the value for money ticking up.
Gear list:
2 x EV ELX118P powered subwoofers
2 x EV ELX112P powered 1000w 12" speakers
2 x K&M 21336 adjustable distance rods
1 x Soundcraft MFXi20 mixing console with effects
1 x AudioTechnica MB-DK4 drum mic kit (4 piece)
Not to put too fine a point on it, we are limited to just five (5) of these packages, as that's how many mixers we have allocated. The ripper Soundcraft mixer is set to be refreshed/updated/superseeded, and we've made sure there are some for these packages, before they all disappear.
So, just to reiterate - the RRP of this PA bundle is $7854, but we're letting them go for just $4920. Strictly while stock lasts. First mouse gets the cheese in this case.

Audio Technica is somewhat the unsung hero of wireless microphone systems at Factory Sound. While the touring rider pedigree of both Sennheiser and Shure's bigger systems see them chosen often as the immediate or glamourous choice, Audio Technica has long proven to be not only relaible, but an excellent value-for-money alternative.
So guess what has just snuck in the door? How about an updated (2nd generation) version of the ATW-2000 series - now called ATW-2000a, funnily enough. Same great sound, still with 'press-to-get-clear-frequency' function, and rack mounting hardware included. Slightly new design on the transmitters (handheld and bodypack), which allow for use with ATW-CHG2, the 2-bay charger. Nice touch! This is especially handy for those who are regular users - schools, reception centres, auditoriums and more; simply throw one or two transmitters (armed with NiMH batteries) into the charger at the end of your gig, and it will be ready to go when the next gig starts.
We've just received a nice pile of the ATW-2000aHH (handheld system), ATW-2000aL (lapel system), ATW-2000aHead92 (headset system), plus the abovementioned ATW-CHG2 (2-bay charger). Come check them out. We're particularly taken with the headset design - single ear, and much lower profile than many of the other similarly priced options.

If you've been keeping up with our AudioTechnica journey, you'll remember Horibe* most recently from our trip to Integrate09. Aside from being a thoroughly good bloke (and a knowledgable one at that), he also has an impressive memory for all things 'Austin Powers'.
So, we were talking recently and the topic of our very own Dean came up. Horibe quickly said (in his best Goldmember impersonation) "Can I paint his yoo-hoo gold? It's kind of my thing, you know". After a slightly longer than awkward pause while we sipped an Asahi, we suggested that perhaps making a limited release pair of ATH-PRO700 GOLD headphones might be a little less painful AND way more people would get to see an AudioTechnica logo. "Oh yesh. Yesh yesh yesh yesh. This is a keeper" was the excited reply. I'm sure you'll agree that when he's wearing the 'goldmember' headphones, Dean looks "very toit. Yesh, toit like a toiger. Yesh Yesh Yesh"
*Horibe is real, the headphones are real, Dean is real, but most of the above is completely fabricated without permission from Dean, Horibe or even Mike Meyers. See an episode of FactorySoundTV featuring Horibe here. Get the headphones in store. They are seriously a limited edition, and we've only got 10 pair in stock. Recommended Retail Price is $349, but ring us or come in and we'll give you the full Factory Sound love when it comes to pricing.
Yesh, Yesh, YESH (i'll have what he's having)
