Win a FREE pair of Sennheiser HD380PRO headphones!
Yes, it's finally that time of year where the AFL season is about to kick off big-time. Last week's stand-along match was a bit like a tease... but for our $2012 Footy Tipping competition, it's GOLD. How so?
Because if you're a latecomer, you automatically get the AWAY tip for last week (which means you're already 1 from 1). So get on board now, best tipper this week wins a pair of Sennheiser HD380PRO headphones. And just to show you how much we love these cans... here's a little clip to prove it!

Seems like the giveaways don't stop? Straight up! We've got 22 weeks worth of these prizes (that's 20 weeks left). The important thing is you don't need to know a thing about AFL footy to win - we asked last week's winner (codenamed: ericx), who scored a free PreSonus FireStudio Mobile (RRP $529), how he managed to tip better than the rest of the comp. The answer: "I know nothing about AFL, it was a fluke"
Perfect. And a great reason to get on board if you've not yet done so. Our cutoff is the end of Round 4, and this weekend is Round 3 so if you've not jumped on the Factory Sound Footy Tipping $2010 Express, then the whistle has just about blown. This week's prize is a pair of Sennheiser HD380PRO monitoring headphones. You may remember them from such videos as "Sennheiser Stakeout"...

Soundman's Survival Kit (hey, we didn't name it)
It's great to wake up on a Friday morning to a little surprise. Here's today's one:
Presonus has put together the Soundman's Survival Kit and it come FREE for anyone who purchases a Presonus StudioLive between 19th Feb 2010 and 30th April 2010. Not only is this $120 worth of free stuff being chucked in, it's $120 worth of essential tools to make sure the gig goes smoooth as...
You can probably see from the pic what you get, but just in case:
- LED torch (ok, the Yanks call it a flashlight)
- Forged steel multi-tool (looks like a Leatherman to us, but we'll let you know when we've had a closer look)
- Mini-Sharpie & 1/2" track tape for marking up channels
- A rugged ballistic nylon StudioLive 16.4.2 mixer carry case with handles, padded shoulder strap, locking zippers and a side zipper storage compartment
So that's it... the Soundman's Survival Kit. No bottle opener, no stubby holder, no lighter, no extra large cigarette papers. Just real tools to help the gig, not distract from the job at hand. What you do after load out is completely up to you...
